Organisations such as Coventry Building Society see BEMS as an integral part of their building services systems and as such recognise the requirement for structured maintenance and support to give continued optimum performance of the system.

As well as modifying existing systems as part of regular refurbishments AES Energy Services provides regular ongoing maintenance of the entire BMS Systems to ensure that plant continues to be controlled at optimum levels and all system operates smoothly.

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of the building control system allows this to happen and brings a host of user benefits that include the reduction of emergency breakdowns across the portfolio of buildings and optimum energy efficiency without impacting on the comfort of each of the buildings users.

As part of our routine PPM schedule ensure that the entire BMS asset across all buildings are covered. AES Energy Services not only cover BMS field devices such as sensors and damper actuators for correct operation we also cover the control panel internal wiring. This allows safety checks of wiring and ensures the necessary safety interlocks are maintained in accordance to plant operation. As part of our routine PPM we make sure that disaster recovery plan is in place with full back ups of controllers and front end 963 packages.
